In what may go down as one of the better retro campaigns for the Nike Air Max 1, 2017 will close with another OG Anniversary release in the form of the much adored “Obsidian” edition.
Last seen back in 2013, the Nike Air Max 1 Anniversary “Obsidian” differs slightly from that pair four years ago given its shiny new coat and 30th anniversary moniker. In further context, like the “Aqua” colorway, the “Obsidian” isn’t technically 30 years old just yet. This colorway originally released in 1988, although the silhouette debuted a year prior in 1987.
