Much of what we’ve seen this year where Converse is concerned has either been the timeless Chuck Taylor or the newly resurgent One Star. Yet heading into winter the American footwear brand is unleashing budding iterations of the often unseen CTAS ’70 High.
With all the remnants of the All Star yet filled with subtle variations, basketball quality leather fill the shoe’s Enamel Red upper while a chenille Wolf Grey “C” brands the ankle collar. A rubberized toe and matching midsole is something the shoe shares with the Chuck, while the metal eyelets offer another hint of distinction.
