Made famous by Dan Marino when he donned the shoe in Miami during his Hall of Fame career with the Dolphins, Nike’s Air Max Speed Turf is set to make a return. And while the Dolphins colorway is certainly one of the most memorable, Nike is kicking things off with a little Bay Area love.
Although the shoe has been seen in Raiders, Giants, and Cowboys themes in years past, the return of the Air Max Speed Turf is championed by this 49ers edition. This scheme is nothing new to Nike Football fans as we’ve seen the blocking plenty in the past thanks to Deion Sanders’ signature collection.
