After yesterday’s news that Nike would update its OG “Gold” Air Max 97 with the shades of the Italian flag, the European only release date for the shoe is confirmed today.
As previously assumed, the Nike Air Max 97 Italy “Gold” will land at select Nike European retailers on January 18. A theme that of course started with another OG, the “Silver Bullet,” colors from the Italian flag will don both the tongue and heel tabs to honor the region that supported the Air Max lineage better than any other. Calendar this release date and stay tuned for retail destinations.
