Late last year Nike released a commemorative “Black Mamba” edition of the Air Force 1 Low. The model released in honor of Kobe Bryant’s duel jersey retirement ceremony. Now, not much more than a month later, they’re dropping a similar style in Bean’s signature Kobe A.D. Mid.
Dressed in a tumbled black leather upper with Laker gold contrasts at the “Black Mamba” scripted tongue, Swoosh and outsole, the model odes to Bryant’s Hall of Fame legacy through an understated snakeskin pattern gently stretching across the base.
