As the adidas Ultra Boost is updated each year with a new installment – with the latest being the 4.0 – subtle enhancements are what continue to make the shoe one of the best performance runners on the market. Though very much pulled together with remarkable detailing and clever nuances, the Ultra Boost is still raw and driven by intuitive use.
adidas tracks this journey through its newly vindicated “Energy From the Ground Up” campaign. Starring athletes like distance runner Dominique Scott-Efurd, sprinter Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake and ambassador Adrienne, new variations of the Ultra Boost and Ultra Boost X are seen with modernized tooling that starts with the return of the model’s ventilation holes at the foot’s key sweat zones — the cage and forefoot.
What’s more, Primeknit fabrication is redesigned to reduce stretch to offer optimal fit and support for runners. adidas is also always updating Boost cushioning, making it better and more responsive than the last edition.
Look for these new adidas Ultra Boost and Ultra Boost X colorways on February 21 at three stripes doors and February 28 globally. Pairs are priced at $180.
