adidas Running today debuts its new marathon shoe in the form of the adizero Sub2. Of course referencing finishing a marathon in under 2 hours, the shoe is a standalone release yet also tied to adidas athlete Wilson Kipsang, who last year ran the fastest marathon on Japanese soil.
Engineered for elite racing athletes, the adidas adizero Sub2 is the brand’s lightest and fastest running shoe ever. Highlighted by the newly vindicated Boost Light Technology, the next level cushioning system is finished with Microfit upper alongside a Continental Microweb outer to maximize grip and reduce slipping on race day.
As the name suggests a goal of breaking the 2-hour milestone for a 26.2 mile marathon, the Adidas Adizero Sub2 is the lightest Adidas Boost running shoe ever.
The adidas adizero Sub2 will be available on March 15 for $180 at adidas.com and select three stripes retailers.
