A little over a month after Kim Kardashian West made assurances that infamous sneaker leakers, Yeezy Mafia,  would see repercussions for detailing inaccurate information regarding her husband, Kanye West, and the brand that carries his name, the account has been suspended from Twitter.

Kardashian West accused the band of leakers of posting invalid information regarding brand Yeezy releases. She even went as far as to point a finger at Twitter for verifying such an account. Now, just a short time after Yeezy Mafia’s verified blue check was removed, their account has been suspended altogether. The Yeezy Mafia collective is still active on Instagram, and via that channel have pointed to a “backup Twitter account while we sort things out.”

Likely of little coincidence, the Yeezy Mafia ban took place just shortly after Kanye West’s return to the social media platform. West rejoined Twitter last week after an almost yearlong hiatus. He immediately lobbed a shot at Nike, then vindicated an early rendering of the Yeezy Boost 350 and a pair of Yeezy boots that have not yet released.

Twitter has not yet (and probably won’t) made a statement as to why the account was suspended or if Kardashian West had any say in the matter.
