Although release details for the Air Jordan 4 “Raptors” remain somewhat of a mystery, what does appear to be clear is that this northern-inspired iteration of the 1989 produced silhouette is indeed affiliated with Drake.

By now everyone is painfully aware of the rumors surrounding his impending move to adidas. Drake continues to  add fuel to the fire by wearing adidas almost exclusively over the last few months. But before anything official takes place (or doesn’t), there’s still Jordan Brand business at hand. The “Raptor” 4s represent said business. Sort of.

In lieu of traditional Flight script below the Jumpman logo, Drizzy’s signature is prominently placed on the tongue acting as conclusive evidence that this release was intended for the Toronto son. Yet given the uncertainly of his future with the company, it’s likely the rollout for this shoe will be pretty quiet from a Jordan Brand standpoint. So, in whatever capacity he’s affiliated with this release, it appears to be his final Jordan Brand release.
