Just over a month ago we got our first look at Vans Syndicate‘s upcoming holiday release, the Mountain Edition S, to a pretty warm reception. No one knew at the time though that there was a special material make-up to these–both pairs feature a very special type of leather. Wolverine’s “Warrior” leather is a proven military grade leather, available in black or tan with a matching weave on the upper. The forefoot strap should serve to keep your foot secure, while a traditional white vulcanized sole is also used. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a specialty material used with the Mountain Edition, as many of you may recall the Knoll x Vans Collaboration Pack. |
