Nike KD2

From drawing board to Twitpic, we’ve now seen the full progression of this Nike KD2. We first got a look at this colorway in our 1 on 1 with Kevin Durant, when it was only a digital rendering, but today he posted a picture of the actual shoe on his Twitter. Hopefully, the burgeoning superstar has plans to wear them in a game soon.

The upper is done with a majority of white leather. As we know, the KD2 uses the same Zoom-equipped sole as the KD1 did, and this one appears with a white outsole and black midsole. Just above that midsole is a matching mudguard of patent leather. That same patent is used on the midfoot strap, which features the KD logo and “Two” in white and orange. Trim along the lower part of the upper is done in what appears to be a fade from yellow to orange, while the black Swoosh uses an orange outline of its own. Orange and yellow contrast stitching is added on the patent for good measure.
