In commemoration of three iconic moments from Michael Jordan’s illustrious career, Jordan Brand is releasing a three sneaker pack with matching jerseys dubbed the “International Collection.”
The first sneaker/jersey combination to be released is a blue and red themed iteration of the Air Jordan 3, which is an homage to a similar version Jordan wore in a 1988 charity game in Los Angeles that raised over $650,00 for the United Negro College Fund. This version of the AJ3 was released on Saturday, June 30 and is available now at select retailers.
The second release of the “International Collection” pack is an orange and blue mosaic themed version of the Air Jordan 5 and matching jersey. This sneaker/jersey combination is similar to what he wore in a summer exhibition in Barcelona in 1990 and will be releasing on August 28.
The last sneaker/jersey combination of the “International Collection” pack features a Japanese-inspired Air Jordan 12, which has a blue and white color scheme with a koi fish scale print on the mud guard. A kimono-inspired print is evident throughout the upper. Look for this AJ12 and matching jersey to release on September 8.
