Nike’s very-first performance retro, the Zoom Kobe 1 Protro, is the start of what could be an entirely new market for the dominant sportswear brand. Starting with Kobe Bryant’s debut signature silhouette, it’s likely a jumping off point for many others — namely LeBron James whose Air Zoom Generation retro first released last year. Bryant, though, is currently at the plate and the “MPLS” edition of his Protro officially drops this Friday, July 6.

Confirmed today by retailer Kicks Store, the shoe will be available this weekend for $175 USD. The Poland-based shop is hosting a raffle for the sneaker; many other retailers will almost certainly follow suit. Those hoping to score a pair from KS would only need to sign up and register here for a chance to purchase. Fans who win the raffle drawing on July 10 will be able to purchase the shoe on July 11.

For now, grab a closer look at the Nike Kobe 1 Protro “MPLS” below and let us know if you plan to cop tomorrow.
