Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” continues to bear fruit now more than a year removed from its original launch. With his Zoom Fly SP Pack releasing this month (and again on SNKRS this morning), Abloh’s next release surrounds his re-imagining of the Air Force 1 Low.
Aside from the Black and Volt pairs scheduled to launch later this month, Abloh, while spending some time with German photographer Juergen Teller, revealed a blue Off White x Nike Air Force 1 Low. Posted on his personal Instagram account, the shoe is reported to release next summer in accordance with Virgil’s upcoming exhibition at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art.
Although these reports have not been confirmed by any related party, the simple fact that Virgil himself is wearing and advertising the shoe means that there could be some truth to its origins. Abloh has been known to preview his collaborative sneakers before they release so this isn’t necessarily out of step with past releases.
*LEAK ALERT*: @Nike x @virgilabloh will be dropping a new Air Force 1 to commemorate @virgilabloh ‘s exhibition at the @mcachicago in June 2019.
The pair will be available in both Mens & GS sizes and drop in a University Blue/White/University Red/Metallic Silver colourway.
