Taking to Twitter in late 2018 to showcase an outfit, Kanye West also premiered a new Yeezy model.
Based in black and of the Batman variety, this new silo is sportier than the utility boots that launched with early Yeezy Season collections and more city driven in regards to styling.
While the zip closure over the lacing is intriguing, perhaps most compelling component of the boot is the open hole pull-tab on the tongue.
Early samples of the Yeezy Basketball shoe featured the same neoprene sleeve collar with the same circular styling on the would-be tongue.
While those early Yeezy Basketball samples are still yet to hit retail, perhaps we’ll see this same design direction on upcoming Yeezy Seasons? Only time will tell.
