It was just earlier today that we first saw the sak x Converse Collection in detail. The pictures laone do not tell the story behind the shoes though, as it is only through the words of the creator that one can fully grasp the thought that Ryusaka Hiruma puts into his work.
Check the video above and see Hiruma hand-create the shoes, using Italian techniques with an intrinsic Japanese touch. These shoes may be Converse, but there’s little to them that isn’t worth the money you’ll have to spend to have a pair. More designer dress shoe than sneaker, the sak Collection promises to redefine quality.
