Kobe Bryant’s signature line will continue its innovative performance-retro (Protro) line this year with the second release of the series, the Kobe 4.
Originally released in 2008 and the first of Bryant’s signature styles to release as a low-top, the Kobe 4 will be updated for retro consumption this year accompanied by an Undefeated collaboration.
While details surrounding the collection are scarce, it’s expected that three colorways will release sometime in April — Black/Multi, Sail/Multi, and Team Orange/Multi. Already packed with key Swoosh innovations like Flywire, Zoom Air and Lunar foam midsole tooling, further enhancements of the Kobe 4 Protro could make it one of the best hoops sneakers of its time for a second go-round.
A favorite amongst Mamba enthusiasts, Undefeated’s Kobe 4 collaborative collection will be one of many Protros that will include OG colorways and new iterations alike. No images of the UNDFTD pairs are currently available for viewing. Stay tuned for additional information.
