While this may be the perfect shoe for the 4th of July holiday this Summer, it was two Japanese brands that designed it. Though to be fair, the choice silhouette is a Boston-bred New Balance 576.
whiz and mita both had a hand in the designing of this shoe, which is covered in stars. Charcoal grey suede covers the toe and mid-panels, laying the foundation for the star-stamped toe box and collar. The navy blue N shows a reptilian print and is matched on the heel panel. A bit of red also appears on the midsole. These just became available at whiz if you’re after pair, and unfortunately no stateside drop has been planned just yet, meaning importing these may be your only option.
