Throughout the 2009-2010 NBA season, our Kicks On Court has spotted Converse Brand members Kirk Hinrich, Maurice Evans, Kyle Korver and Udonis Haslem rocking the Converse Weapon EVO night in and night out. What else does Converse Basketball have in store you ask? Take a look at the Converse Drop Step model.
This newly-designed Converse Basketball model, which features Converse Balls technology, seems as if it could have been created decades ago. Its high-top, vintage look reminds many of the burly, bulky basketball sneakers worn by the Larry Birds, Magic Johnsons and Kareem Abdul-Jabaars of the NBA. This Drop Step’s predominately white leather base is accompanied by navy blue hints on the heel, inner lining and tongue. In addition, the ever-so-popular Converse chevron logo is visible in grey on the side panels. If you recall, the Drop Step released in two colorways earlier this year; yet, this white/navy blue pair will hit retailers soon for $65. View more photos below.
