Designer Heron Preston has revealed his debut sneaker. The creative who spent time at Nike during earlier moments in his career knows a thing or two about sneaker design. That much is clear with the first look at his budding creation.

With a trail shoe focus that proves vivid given the Vibram sole unit, hiking aesthetics and patterned laces, paneled suede and synthetics fill the base which also notes reflective detailing at the rear quarter. Mesh windows are seen at the midsection and heel, the latter for which features “?????” embroidery underneath.
Preston, in the IG post that revealed his debut sneaker, made sure to indicate two things: the shoe is not a collaboration and, as of now, it is unnamed.

Update 1/16: New images courtesy of Highsnobiety have emerged from Heron Preston’s Paris Fashion Week fall/winter 2019 showcase. His upcoming trail sneaker is seen in a striking yellow and black colorway. The collection — including this sneaker — is largely inspired by Preston’s world travels and his dealings with TSA, which found a place in his runway presentation.
