This weekend, NBA MVP candidate Paul George will see his third signature silhouette release in a NASA enthused colorway. It’s not the first time Nike has worked with NASA. And, as past trends and recent news has taught us, it certainly won’t be the last.

In the weeks ahead, a Nike LeBron 16 “NASA” is also expected to release. However, as of now, they won’t be releasing in men’s sizes. The Boys pair is due out at the top of the month on February 1.

This push could be one that harkens back to Nike’s early adoration of all things Galaxy-inspired. Beginning as a series of releases aligned with NBA All-Star Weekend, the theme has never quite gone silent, continuing to pop back up each year around February.

We’ll soon know more about the Nike LeBron 16 Boys “NASA” and if this release is a part of a larger theme.
