Bodega has long maintained its status among the brightest collaborators in sneakers. Their works span far and wide and across varying brands.
They do, however, share unique commonality with New Balance, a neighboring company for which they work with frequently and successfully.
That trend continues with a preview of the upcoming Bodega x New Balance 997S. A budding silhouette that New Balance aligns among their many modern-day iterations of classic trainers, Bodega outfits this hybrid style in a wealth of rich and neutral shades while juxtaposing premium suede, mesh, and neoprene.
The Boston-based retailer did not indicate a release date for their budding New Balance shoe. Stay tuned for additional details.
Update 3/19: A nod to the sneaker’s versatility and comfort as an all-day wear no matter the terrain, Bodega’s collaborative New Balance 997S “No Days Off” is seen in greater detail today. Covered leather, suede overlays, debossed neoprene and dual Abzorb/Encap tooling, an X-Pac laminate heel counter caps a premium material onset.
Look for the Bodega x New Balance 997S “No Days Off” on April 4 via the NTWRK app and in-store at the Boston and Los Angeles Bodega locations. An online release will take place on April 6. Retail for the sneaker is $160.
