European retailer Slam Jam is back with another stellar collaboration. After an apparel capsule with Brain Dead — whose Converse Chuck 70 “What the” collaboration was one of the best in recent memory — Slam Jam is working on a Converse release that might even trump their recent Nike Blazer.
Continuing the “reconstructed” trend in sneakers that has certainly birthed new creativity, a set of Frankenstein-like Chuck 70s denote exposed stitching, two-tone blocking, and similar two-tone rubberized toe caps. The navy pair highlights the latter, while a white and tan pair takes the two-tone theme even further, all the way down to the midsole.
Look for the Slam Jam x Converse Chuck 70 “Reconstructed” Pack on April 13 exclusively at the Converse Studio 70 Slam Jam pop-up shop in Milan. Additional pairs will be available both in-store and online beginning April 15.
