This weekend’s Air Jordan 4 Black/Red retro release will more likely be worn off court than on it.
Beloved as a lifestyle shoe 30 years after its release, the shoe’s tech was once ground-breaking, showcasing visible Air, a revolutionary 3/4 cut, ventilated mesh windows and rubber wings.
While Michael Jordan was the sole endorser of the shoe when it launched in 1989 from an NBA standpoint, the shoe has been seen on the hardwood in retro rendition since. It’s also crossed over to another arena, too.
