As discussed in our recent Air Jordans We Want Back With Nike Air feature, the Air Jordan 5 “Grape” was once the most coveted colorway on the retro market.

Returning in 2013, one could make a case for the OG being topped by its flipped counterpart — the “Black Grape” Air Jordan 5. In 2020, it appears another flip will happen in the form of the Air Jordan 5 “Grape Ice” set for next spring.

Much like the “Black Grape,” it’s said this pair will sport similar midsole tooling with purple nubuck all over the upper. The Air Jordan 5 “Grape Ice” is rumored to release in April of 2020.
