Beyond the Blog is a new video series that give readers of Nice Kicks a new experience into sneakers and culture. For the debut episode of this series we wanted to give you a look into a store that may not be the most talked about online, but has history that stretches longer than the sports franchises of it’s city.
Recently we visited Atlanta to attend Greg Street’s Sneaker Friends, but the morning before the show we made a quick stop in downtown Atlanta to visit the legendary shop Walter’s. In business since shortly after World War II, the store has been an outfitter for several generations. Still located on Decatur Street with the humblest of build outs and interiors, this legendary location is still serving the people of Atlanta with the latest clothing and footwear.
