Are you ready for some football? More soccer in styling, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Tailgate may have no formal ties to Lee Corso or even trucking. However, this colorway is expected to pull up in early 2020.
Early leaks suggested these would be very similar to the “Cloud White” in appearance, as the first photos displayed a more monochrome base that leaned blanker than blue with gum bottoms providing the biggest differentiator from that of the Clouds. Upon an actual unveiling, we realize these are in fact much more like the “Beluga” V2s.
Seen in photos above and below from House of Heat, a grey Primeknit upper gives way to a semi-translucent side stripe of the same tone and a matching midsole. The heel tab is back – which is great news to many – sporting a bold orange/solar red aesthetic that leads into the side stripe.
At the moment, a formal drop date for the Tailgate adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is unknown. One would imagine the first quarter of 2020.
