After initial conversations of potentially playing the rest of the season in empty arenas, the 2019-2020 is officially suspended as of March 11, 2020 due to the spread of Corona virus, also known as COVID-19.

The declaration came just moments after the Oklahoma City and Utah Jazz game was postponed just seconds prior to tip-off. Utah Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Emmanuel Mudiay were tested for the virus. Gobert allegedly tested positive. The rest of the Utah Jazz team were tested by Oklahoma health officials, according to ESPN’s Royce Young.

The league is set to facilitate a plan regarding the hiatus on March 12
