Nike’s popular SB Dunk Low has seen numerous colorways and collaborations over the years. The next in line to collaborate with the Swoosh is convenience store 7-Eleven. Although no official photos have surfaced as of yet, we’ve been given a first look at the forthcoming 7-Eleven x Nike SB Dunk Low courtesy of @solebyjc.
The 7-Eleven x Nike SB Dunk Low is, of course, coved in the convenience store’s iconic colors of red, green, and orange, while contrasting hits of white cover the Swoosh insignia, tongues, laces, and heels. Elsewhere the back heel sports a unique “Nike” logo in addition to 7 Eleven’s official branding being spotlighted on the lateral ankle. Rounding out the overall look is a gum rubber outsole.
In case you forgot, in 2008, Nike SB released a Dunk High “Big Gulp” which was nicknamed after the convenient store’s trademark self-serve cups. However, that was not an official collaboration with 7 Eleven like this upcoming SB Dunk Low.
The 7 Eleven x Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to release later this summer at select skate shops. Keep it locked here for more details when they surface.
UPDATE (05/14):
The shoe’s release has been canceled. The pair was set to releasing in Japan ahead of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Due to the game’s postponements, the collab was officially scratched off. We probably won’t be seeing these anytime soon.
If you were able to get your hands on a sample pair, you might’ve just won the lottery.
