Even though the NBA season has been suspended, Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving and his design team hasn’t paused in their creative efforts. In fact, the group has created a multitude of Nike Kyrie 6 sneakers, including a new Bruce Lee colorway and a specific pair for his sister Asia. Recently leaked by Sole By JC, the “Eleven” colorway is inspired by the number’s symbolic value in the star player’s life. It was his father’s favorite number, the number of games he played at Duke, and so forth.
The “Eleven” colorway features a black construction with the words highlighted near the collar and on the mid-panel of the sneaker. The wording is painted in LED blue and red. Additionally, hits of the two colors are also seen on the lace holders and the heel Swoosh. Furthermore, the sneaker features hits of metallic silver on the main Swoosh. All atop a Zoom Air midsole, this sneaker awaits the opening of basketball courts nationwide.
Look for this iteration of the Nike Kyrie 6 “Eleven” to release for $130 at select Nike retailers. Are you feeling this new colorway? Let us know in the comments.
