For its latest special collaborative range, Diadora has tapped artist King Saladeen to celebrate everything from the city of Philly to the sport of tennis. The upcoming King Saladeen x Diadora range comprises of two iconic silhouettes: the Diadora Maverick and the Diadora N9002.
First up the King Saladeen x Diadora Maverick “JP Tennis Shoe” is inspired by the artist’s best friend, John JP Thompson, and his love for the sport of tennis. The sneaker is crafted from white leather and grey suede overlays, whilst green tennis ball material covers the vector logos.
Over on the King Saladeen x Diadora N9002 “Museum Runner,” this silhouette celebrates athletes and artists located in Philadelphia, “where so many people run the Philadelphia Museum steps,” Saladeen shared in a press release. This model boasts a stealthy black mesh upper which is accented with various grey-toned suede overlays.
Interested readers can pick up both the King Saladeen x Diadora Maverick “JP Tennis Shoe” ($150) and the King Saladeen x Diadora N9002 “Museum Runner” ($175) starting Saturday, November 14 exclusively at Foot Locker Community Power Store located in Wyncote, PA.
