This December, adidas Originals and Kid Cudi are releasing a brand-new silhouette.
After having a successful inaugural run with a rerelease of the Artillery High, the Three Stripes has tapped Cudi for his first signature sneaker: the Vadawam 326. Named after his daughter, Vada, the pair blends together the creative talents of the artist with pinches of his familial significance.
Taking cues from Cudi’s beloved Artillery High, the Vadawam 326 boasts a retro-basketball cut with a multi-material upper. The dashing pair is constructed using leather and hints of suede, along with decorative straps acting as a lace-cage. The number 326 is etched along the collar, nodding his daughter’s birthday. For its first global release, the duo will be released in two contrasting colorways: Core Black/Night Grey/Solar Pink and Core White/Ecru Tint/Easy Yellow.
In addition to a general release, the pair also has received a visual campaign highlighting Cudi’s electric, eccentric personality. As seen below, vibrant hints of color and graphic characters encapsulate the creativity and playfulness of the Platinum musician.
Both pairs of the adidas Originals x Kid Cudi Vadawam 326 will be released on December 17 on adidas.com for $180. Do you plan to cop Cudi’s first signature sneaker? Let us know on social media. Until then, keep it locked to Nice Kicks for all of your sneaker related news.
