Nike SB has been a roll this year and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. With yet another collaborative effort, Nike SB has tapped Japanese designer Verdy and his label Wasted Youth for a patch-work constructed Dunk Low.
Using the iconic skate sneaker as a canvas, Wasted Youth has applied several unique design elements. First and foremost, the use of patchwork is displayed across the upper, changing the way in which the different panels are cut and shaped. New patches and overlays are displayed in unorthodox areas, including the toe-box and the heel. Additionally, red accents are displayed through various stitchings, most prominent through the stitched rose atop the distressed Swoosh branding. Wasted Youth insignia featured on the heel complete the design.
While not much is known yet about the collaboration, expect the Wasted Youth x Nike SB Dunk Low to arrive sometime in early 2021 on Nike.com. Keep it locked to the Nice Kicks Dunk Calendar to stay up-to-date with all of your Nike Dunk releases.
