In today’s day and age, discrimination has unfortunately become a larger and larger topic of discussion. Recent events have alluded to the need for unity and togetherness, thus both people and corporations have come together to tackle this problem head-on. Joining forces to create a product fighting discrimination, Philadelphia studio Garrixon, Footlocker’s Greenhouse, and Diadora have created a special edition of the Duratech Elite.

Designed by a group of middle and high school students from Incorp(HER)ated’s 2019 Straight to Feet workshop, this “Limitless” edition of the Duratech Elite combines multiple hues atop its multi-material construction. The combination of Blue and Pink symbolizes the breakdown of gender stereotypes, while the Diadora holographic logo represents inclusivity among all. The sneaker’s namesake derives from the belief that no matter who you are, you can achieve anything you put your mind to.
