Step Into The Next Generation With The adidas Superstar Futureshell

Since its inception, the adidas Superstar has undergone a plethora of transformations. From different ankle cuts, to merging with other Three Stripes silhouettes like the Stan Smith, the Shell Toe classic has cemented itself as a versatile icon within the sneaker industry. In its latest iteration, the adidas Superstar receives a Futureshell makeover.

This new design on the timeless model sees the silhouette covered in an almost plastic, translucent coating. The coating provides a shell like effect, shrouding the sneaker from dirt and grime. Beneath, a “Semi Solar Red/Bright Blue” hue is seen on the Three Stripes branding and heel. Underfoot, the sneaker is finished with a lightly tinted gum outsole that reads the word “FUTURE.”
