The NBA All-Star Game 2021 is set to arrive this week, and with that Nike Basketball has unveiled its “Play For The Future” collection ahead of the big weekend.
With both basketball and sustainability at the helm of this collection, the range comprises nature-inspired takes on LeBron James’, Kevin Durant’s, Kyrie Irving’s, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s, and Paul George’s signature models.
First up, King James’ Nike LeBron 18 sports a clean icy blue makeover which represents unpolluted air, while the Nike KD 13 features a bevy of colors to symbolize renewable energy. For the Nike Kyrie 7, the sneaker nods to the player’s sustainable plant-based diet seen by the plant-inspired graphics throughout.
On the Nike PG 5, watery green and ripple-like graphics inspire this silhouette which pays homage to rivers and lakes. Lastly, the Nike Zoom Freak 2 colorway is a symbol of Nike Basketball’s commitment to the generations who got next.
Four of the five pairs will release via Nike.com ahead of the big game on March 7, while Antetokounmpo’s model will hit retailers on March 12. Prices tag ranges from $225 to $120 USD.
