Y-3 Puts Their Spin On The adidas UltraBOOST 21

Yohji Yamamoto’s and adidas’s utilitarian-injected Y-3 label have put their own spin on the UltraBOOST 21 runner.

The Y-3 UltraBOOST 21 sports a clean black and white outfit, the former dressing the clean cageless Primeknit+ weave upper, while the latter arrives on the BOOST-assisted midsole. Over in the rear, the heel becomes more elevated, which is due to the midsole featuring six percent more BOOST than any pair before it.

In terms of branding, an updated adidas and Yohji Yamamoto-branded stripe can be seen running down the middle of the tongue, vamp, and onto the toe box.

The Y-3 UltraBOOST 21 is currently available at select retailers such as Aphrodite1994 for £249 GBP (approximately $342 USD).
