According to a first look, Nike and Japanese stalwart UNDERCOVER may just be collaborating on yet another Dunk High, this time dressed in “Red Camo.”
Although no official imagery has surfaced as of yet, it is believed the upcoming Nike Dunk High “Red Camo” will boast red and black patterned overlays throughout its dark grey leather base. Red carries through onto the Swoosh insignias, along with the rubber outsole, inner liner, and laces, while the midsole gets a vintage-aged effect. Jun Takahashi’s design cues arrive on the modified curled-in collar and ultra-high eyestay peak.
Another noteworthy aspect is Nike looks to have pulled out its OG tooling
for the outsole. On a closer look, the shape is almost identical the outsoles
seen on sneakers in 1986.
This Nike Dunk High “Red Camo” is expected to release sometime this year via select retailers and Nike.com Keep it locked here for official imagery, release date, and pricing notes, along with a confirmation from UNDERCOVER.
