The second offering from Social Status and Nike is on its way this summer. The “Free Lunch” collection features two pairs of Dunk Lows in children’s sizing with two pairs of the same colorways in the Nike Dunk Mid which are reminiscent of milk carton ads. The collection is inspired by the free lunch program and the significance it has on underserved communities.
First up, we have a soft pink and off-white offering that is crafted with leather and velour. Leather appears on the toe, mid-panel, and heel while velour traverses from the toe box to the eyelets and around the ankle. Other details featured are co-branding on the tongue, inserts, and medial heel, followed by “NIKE” embroidered onto the heel. Concluding the pair are two sets of laces and a special co-branded box.
The second colorway’s base is crafted with velour and leather materials. Leather is placed onto the toe box and overlays while velour appears on the toe, mid-panel, and ankles. Other details included are co-branding on the tongue, medial heel, and inserts. Finishing up the iteration is “NIKE” embroidery on the heel, milk carton-inspired sole, and a special co-branded box.
