Argonaut Cycles just rolled out a custom Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” paint job of their flagship RM3 carbon fiber road bike at the ENVE Builders Round Up Open House and Grodeo for former pro cyclist Christopher Jones. Chris worked with Argonaut painter Mauricio Caballero to design a paint scheme referencing the Tinker Hatfield designed Air Jordan 4 in White/Fire Red/Black.
While at first it looks like a tastefully painted road bike, details like the mesh netting design on the top tube, “R M 3” heel tab logo behind the seatpost, wing lace water bottle cages, and color breaks around the crankset and front fork reminiscent of the Jordan 4 midsole shapes key in on the sneaker design elements. Flip the bike over and you’ll even find a hidden Jumpman logo ghosted on the bottom bracket. Rounding off this American-made carbon fiber bike are some of the finest racing components including Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 and ENVE cockpit and wheelset.
Don’t forget to keep it locked at Nice Kicks for all of your sneaker release dates including the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Retro “Tech White” set to arrive in July.
