One year ago today, the Reebok Kamikaze II saw its official retro return. A year later, the Reebok Kamikaze I gets the same treatment by releasing at retail in OG fashion. To celebrate, we take a look back at one our favorite features detailing Shawn Kemp’s complete signature sneaker range with Reebok.

Following back to back All-Star bids, Reebok rewarded Shawn Kemp with his first signature in the form of the Kamikaze. The midtop makeup was electric, baring a more brash and aggressive design than anything he’d ever worn. Colors coincided with the Sonics unis and were worn throughout the course of the 94-95 season and postseason.
