1998 NBA Finals: Chicago Bulls vs. Utah Jazz
Game 6 Stat Line: 45 Points, 1 Rebound, 1 Assist
Model Worn: Air Jordan 14
Icon. Legend. Immortality. Those descriptive words easily portray Michael Jordan and his Game 6 game winner over Bryon Russell, cementing those titles as it perfectly encapsulated MJ and his array of talents. After grabbing a stealth-like steal from Karl Malone in the post, MJ would gather the ball on the left wing and suddenly dart towards the top of the key. After being tightly contested by Russell, MJ would hit an illustrious crossover that many consider to be a “push-off,” in which afterwards he’d rise up to nail the go-ahead jumper.
Sealing his second three-peat with that jumpshot, this game would effectively end the Bulls’ dynasty as it would be Michael’s final game in a Chicago Bulls uniform. Although he’d return to the hardwood as a member of the Washington Wizards, it is this moment from 1998 that many basketball enthusiasts and sneakerheads enjoy with immense passion.
