Derek Fisher: 2004 Western Conference Semifinals
Moment: Game 5
Stat Line: 8 pts, 2 reb, 2 ast
Model Worn: Nike Air Max Uptempo ’95
Game 5 of the 2004 Western Conference Semifinals was memorable for a variety of reasons but most specifically how Derek Fisher stole the Alamo City’s heart by nailing a game winning jumper with only 0.4 seconds remaining. Only a few moments prior did Kobe Bryant nail what was thought to be a game sealing jumper with 11.2 seconds left, only to be outdone by Tim Duncan nailing a fadeaway twenty footer with Shaquille O’Neal right in his face. While the Lakers would win the game and the series, they would eventually fall to the Detroit Pistons in the 2004 NBA Finals.
