To the surprise of some, Anthony Bennett became the first overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft last night. No word on if he has signed a shoe deal yet, but his love for sneakers was made obvious during his one year at UNLV. Bennett was a star during our College Kicks on Court column. He wore everything, including the Nike LeBron, Nike Air Foamposite, and, of course, Air Jordan brand sneakers. The Cleveland Cavaliers may not present as easy a color scheme to match as the red and black of his Runnin’ Rebel collegiate years, but judging from his wide array of selections, things can be arranged.
