The A Ma Maniére Airship Drops This Week

A Ma Maniére continues to dominate the sneaker collab space with its recent and upcoming Air Jordan collaborations and now the fashion boutique is set to introduce an upcoming black/royal Airship.

The Airship has a storied history. Most know (or don’t know) that the shoe was actually the original “Banned” shoe that Michael Jordan wore in 1984. MJ’s signature Air Jordan 1 was released the following year and the “Banned” Airship saw a retro release in 2020. Formerly known to be a Nike silhouette, A Ma Maniére states that “Jordan Brand is driving the Airship journey and is the brand partner on this project,” making the upcoming shoe a Jordan Brand release.

The sneaker takes on the traditional color blocking of the sneaker using a white leather base with Royal Blue seen on the accents by way of the Swoosh and ankle collar for example. Nike and A Ma Maniére co-branding is seen on the tongue tag with a white and blue midsole and outsole combo finishing off the sneaker.

The A Ma Maniére Airship is set to drop on August 26th exclusively on A-Ma-Maniere.com for $140 which is limited to 2,300 pairs. Check out the short film “Do It In The Dark” from AMM as well as editorial photos.
