After years of stamping their imprint on sneaker culture through collaborative releases with Nike, A.P.C. is stepping very strategically out on its own. Carrying with them Jean Touitou’s vision that began over three years ago, the contemporary French label today debuts its budding sneaker for spring/summer 2018.
First revealed last year through a series of preview images, the quasi chunky dad shoe is a master of minimalism like the brand’s jackets, shirting and signature denim output. Colored in muted shades that allow the silhouette’s nuance to reverberate, technical and reflective detailing round the shapely shoe which rest largely upon mesh and split leather fabrication. A uniquely designed sole unit bolsters the low profile style that debuts in white, grey and beige colorways.
Carefully teetering the line between a “dad shoe” and something far ahead of that trend, and in line with the brand philosophy, A.P.C.’s new sneaker can be seen in greater detail below. Pairs are available now for pre-order here.
