Harlem native A$AP Bari has what many people consider the year’s best collaboration thus far, his VLONE x Nike Air Force 1 Low. But his friend and fellow designer may be giving him a run for his money in the months to come.
Bari recently confirmed on Twitter that an Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low is releasing this year. In the tweet where he simply states “Nike…..2017” while holding the shoe in question, he reveals the same variation earlier previewed by Ian Connor.
It’s a deconstructed model in its entirely, looking strategically more like a sample than a production shoe. A Metallic Swoosh is finished with exposed stitching while “AIR” in white contrasts the black midsole. The deconstructed tongue best defines the “undone” aesthetic.
No release details are available but Bari’s confirmation is something to look forward to in and of itself.
