Team adidas athletes, should they medal in Rio, will receive a special gift from their sponsoring brand – the adidas 3D-printed Futurecraft shoe.
That’s right, adidas is gifting the revolutionary shoe to select (sponsored) Olympians who secure gold, silver or bronze in Brazil.
Constructed in breathable Primeknit fabrication married to a 3D-printed outsole, the innovative style implements 3D web structuring to help shape the overall aesthetic of the groundbreaking shoe. Moreover, the laces will be updated with the speckled treatment in gold, silver or bronze depending on which medal the Olympians take home.
