adidas Running has revealed the next generation of the innovative 4D midsole technology with the adidas 4DFWD. The standout feature is its newest iteration its data-driven, 3D printed midsole which offers more cushioning and more efficient energy return to propel you forward while running.
In addition to the 4D midsole, the black PRIMEKNIT upper has been tailored to work in harmony with the 4DFWD midsole which gives the runner a sock-like secure fit and breathability. Solar Red accents can be seen on the eyelets, heel, and outsole of the 4DFWD.
The adidas 4DFWD will drop 3 unique colorways, starting with the “Core Black/Solar Red” 4DFWD on May 15, 2021, in limited quantities in the adidas app for $200 USD with sign-ups starting May 5-16. With the Tokyo Summer Olympics around the corner, adidas will also release a special Tokyo Collection 4DFWD which will be the podium shoe of athletes this July and August.
