The Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 Welcomes a New Era of Running

Adidas continues to push the boundaries in the world of running with its latest launch, the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1.

Acting as the label’s lightest running shoe to date, weighing in at just 138 g, the revolutionary road racer is 40% lighter than any other racing model Adidas has ever developed.

Inspired by the same record-breaking technology as the race-winning Adizero Adios Pro 3, the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 is packed full of innovative technology and built to give its runners greater speed and energy return.

The pair sports a revamped geometry with a first-of-its-kind forefoot rocker, placed at 60% of the length of the shoe; this allows for forward momentum and improved running. New outsole technology is also featured for optimum traction, as well as a lightweight mesh upper.

On the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, last year’s Berlin Marathon winner Tigist Assefa shared, “This is the lightest racing shoe I have ever worn and the feeling of running in them is an incredible experience – like nothing I’ve felt before. They enable me to put my full focus on the race, which is exactly what you want as an athlete. I feel ready to defend my title in Berlin and can’t wait to lace up at the start line in these.”

The Adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 will be worn by some of the world’s fastest athletes during the upcoming marathon season. Fans will be able to sign up for a chance to get their own pair starting today, September 14 via www.adidas.com/us/adizero. A limited number of pairs will release again in November. The pair will cost $500.
